4x4Training &  Off-Road Self-Drive Vacation in Iceland

For the past few years Nature Explorer has been doing specialzed 4x4 off-road driving courses for a few military forces, training teams that are then sent to the most difficult conditions, such as Afghanistan. We have also been on 4x4 courses in both USA and the UK so we know Iceland and Nature Explorer have something unique to offer. 

We can offer small groups serious training in 4x4 off-road driving techniques which we later combine with a self drive into the Icelandic highlands where you can enjoy immerse diversity of different landscape and fun mountain tracks.

We can custom design a 4x4 package for your group which can include the following:
4x4 Off-road Training Course (based on our military training courses)
4x4 rental cars (Note; Different types available but our Super-Jeeps are not available for clients to drive)
Guide & Support on a self-drive tour through the roughest tracks of the Icelandic highlands
Vhf-radios, recovery gear, sleeping bags, etc.
Accommodation (from mountain huts to 4* hotels)
Food upon request

Please Note:
This is expensive. Iceland is still an expensive country in general and we are offering a highly specialized customized service.
This is serious training focused on you learning a SAFE and RESPONSIBLE way to go off-road. Do not expect to jump off cliffs, making donuts in the wild or rolling the vehicle and go "Yeeeha!"
There is some degree of risk included, mostly a monetary one. No insurance covers your rental car while crossing an unbridged river. If something happens, eg. water into the engine, you are liable. No insurance covers the under-carriage of the car. If you scrape the exhaust for underneath the car, you are liable. We will however give you the tools and skills to avoid this from happening.
