Day 1:  Arrival in Keflavik Int. Airport - Reykjavik
We pick you up at Keflavik airport and drive you to a guesthouse in Reykjavik and you can use the rest of the day to see the city. Clients might be arriving on different flights so we use this day to gather the group and help  with any requests you might have and final preparations for your bike tour. An optional visit to the Blue Lagoon for those who arrive an early flight.
Accommodation: Hotel Borg in Reykjavik 4*  (Note: Breakfast not incl.)

Day 2:  Transit to Kaldidalur - bike rough track to Geysir
We start by driving to Thingvellir National Park and see the tectonical plate boundaries before driving up to Kaldidalur mt. road where we start our bike tour to Gullfoss. The road lies in between Langjokull glacier and Skjaldbreidur shield volcano, through various lava fields and lunar like landscape in the Icelandic highlands. A fun and scenic road. Almost no car  traffic and so you can enjoy the quiet wilderness and open space.
Distance biked: Kaldidalur - Geysir 55km,

Day 3:  Gullfoss to Hrauneyjar, Hotel Highland
We take another route  that  includes all the elements of our criteria; fun to bike, scenic and no traffic.  Crossing a few  unbrigded rivers and streams adds to the adventure and the 4x4 road is takes you to a sight not enjoyed by many tourists; Haifoss, Iceland´s second highest waterfall.
Distance biked: Gullfoss - Holaskogur 40 km

Day 4:  Landmannalaugar Geothermal Pool
From Hotel Geysir we drive you a to a top of a small hill with a great view of the 32km long route into Landmannalaugar where we enjoy lunch and a relaxing soak in the natural geothermal pool. This day is also ideal for a rest day from the bike. Then you  ride with the support  vehicle into Landmannalaugar and spend the day sightseeing in the amazing landscape. On the way back we take photo stops at two beautiful crater lakes.

Day 5:  Hekla Volcano - South Shore
We drive you to Hekla, Iceland´s most  famous volcano, across Hekla ridge for an amazing view on a good day. There is a track that leads up t o over 900m and would make for an interesting down hill race and from there it would only be a few hour´s hike to the summit if you are interested. The bike tour of the day lies from Hekla, through the newest lava field from February 26, 2000 towards the south shore with a view to two glaciers. Mostly flat and down hill gravel tracks with great scenery. Our support  truck takes us the last  stretch to Hvolsvollur where we go swimming after a great day outdoors.

Day 6: Seltun Hot Springs - Blue Lagoon 
We drive along the south shore, out to Reykjanes Peninsula to Krysuvik where we visit the geothermal mud pits, hot springs and steam vents at Seltun. We bike from Seltun to the fishing town of Grindavik and from there it´s only a shorte ride to the Blue Lagoon. After a relaxing visit in the Blue Lagoon we drive  to our hotel in Keflavik.
Distance biked: Seltun - Blue Lagoon 30 km
Accommodation: Hotel Keflavik 3* (Breakfast incl. and drop off to KEF airport)
Optional: If you wish to extend your stay we can arrange for a hotel in Reykjavik instead

Day 7: Departure Day
If you have a morning flight out of Iceland, you will appreciate the short distance from Keflavik to the airport and if you have an afternoon flight we can arrange for a whale watching tour or you can enjoy Reykjavik on your own.

 Notes:
On each leg, the truck is available for pit-stops and you can shorten the legs if you wish
For safety reasons there´s no riding on the Ring Road (1) but on less trafficed and more scenic roads
