Accommodation: Hotel or Guesthouse  in Reykjavik

Day 2Snæfellsnes Peninsula
This day you go to the west part of Iceland and visit Snæfellsjökull National Park. There are plenty of good  biking opportunities; biking to the tip of the peninsula or from Hellnar to the charming fishing village of Arnarstapi or through lava fields or going down the fun track from the glacier to the beach.
Accommodation: Hotel Hellnar at the edge of the national park

Day 3Exploring Snæfellsnes
You can choose from going whale watching from Olafsvik which is the best place to see the big whales, going snowmobiling on the glacier, exploring the bird life in the lava cliffs along the shore or go mountain biking in the national park. Plenty of good bike routes, both flat and up/down hill. Snaefellsjokull glacier and the area around it is known for it´s magnetism and has been the subject of famous author´s such as Iceland´s Nobel price winner Halldor Laxnes and Jules Verne.
Accommodation: Hotel Hellnar at the edge of the national park

Day 4Exploring Breidafjörður Bay Waterfalls in Borgarfjordur, west Iceland
You drive a short distance to the other side of the peninsula to the small town of Stykkisholmur where you go on a boat excursion among the countless islands and/or visit the island of Flatey.
It is said that there are three things you can´t count in Iceland and one of it are the islands in Breiidafjordur Bay. The birdlife is rich and you get to taste fresh seafood caught on your trip.
Plenty of scenic biking routes around the nice little country fishing town. Relaxed athmosphere and plenty of nature.
Accommodation: Hotel or guesthouse in Stykkisholmur

Day 5Borgarfjörður detour on the way to Reykjavik
You take your time getting back to Reykjavik and visit Iceland´s largest hot spring, Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar (Lava Waterfalls). If you have rented a 4x4 we recommend you take the mountain road Kaldidalur to Thingvellir national park. This road really shows you the barren and remote side of Iceland; rugged lava surrounded by glaciers and mountain desert. If you don´t have a 4x4, you go take the scenic Hvalfjordur fjord route to Reykjavik.
You drop of the bikes and the rental car when in Reykjavik.
Accommodation: Hotel or Guesthouse  in Reykjavik

Golden Circle from Þingvellir to Geysir and Gullfoss in your private Nature Explorer Super-Jeep & driverguide. This tour is almost mandatory for visitors visting Iceland for the first time. Instead of going back to Reykjavik we continue to Thorsmork nature reserve and stay overnight.

Crater lakes, lava fields and deserts as well as magnificient view of numerous glaciers on a clear day. We arrive in Reykjavik in the evening.

Please note: By taking a private tour for two days we can maximize your value and sightseeing. By staying one night in Thorsmork you see and experience in two days what would take you at least three if you were staying in Reykjavik.

This is just and idea and a sample - we will custom make your itinery according to your wishes, length of stay in Iceland.
